Fiji is home to some of the world’s most beautiful beaches. From the spectacular to the serene and relaxing, Fiji has beaches of all sorts covered. Here we give an overview of eight of Fiji’s best:

Twin Bay, Waya Island:
Twin Bay is one of the most spectacular and beautiful beach settings in all of Fiji. It is positioned at the southernmost tip of Waya Island and, at low tide, a sandbank is exposed which joins on to Wayalailai Island. The hills that are located around this area provide an amazing viewing point from which to see the sun rise and set.

With crystal clear waters and white sand, Twin Bay is understandably a popular beach.

Naviti Island:
Naviti Island, Mamanucas is surrounded by a picture perfect beach and lagoon. Again with white sand, sparkling water and small waves, Naviti Island offers a beach that is perfect for swimming, sun baking, relaxing, reading or any other way that you would like to spend your time.

Viwa Island:
Some travellers to Fiji have blogged about Viwa Island offering the best beach in Fiji! This beach will live up to your expectations if you are seeking white sand and beautiful clear blue water.

A reef also reaches far out and provides the opportunity for some incredible snorkelling, of course made all the better because of the clear water!

Vomo Island:
Located in the Mamanuca Islands, Vomo is a privately owned island that is fringed with soft white sands and clear aqua waters. These waters provide endless opportunities for relaxation, fun or adventure.

The fact that this island is privately owned and the subsequent attention to detail, make it a perfect place for enjoying a little luxury.

Natadola Beach:
Renowned as quite an isolated beach, Viti Levu’s Natadola Beach is rightfully considered one of Fiji’s best beaches. Characterised by a beautiful and serene setting, Natadola Beach has shimmering sands.

The appeal of this beach is also because of the activities that can be enjoyed. It is possible to go on horse riding tours or enjoy a quality snorkelling experience from this beach.

Malolo Island:
Malolo Island can certainly provide what many would consider a perfect day in Fiji…a refreshing swim in beautiful waters, followed by a nap in a hammock in the shade of a palm tree. Sounds heavenly, doesn’t it?

However, Malolo Island is also a perfect spot if you are seeking fun and a little adventure, particularly in the form of watersports, including scuba diving.

Tivua Island:
Tivua Island is a small coral caye that is flanked by a white sandy beach. In contrast to some other Fiji Islands where impressive resorts stand and operate, this island is far more simple; in fact, just two wooden cottages exist on the island.

Tivua Island is a day trip destination and is a beautiful, uncomplicated place. A walk around the island is highly recommended…it will take you just eight minutes!

Mana Island:
Mana Island is renowned for being one of the best destinations in the world for scuba diving. In fact, no matter whether you want relaxation and tranquillity or adventure and thrills, the three distinct beaches on Mana Island can cater for your needs and interests!

Fiji is internationally recognised for its beaches and justifiably so. If you are seeking a holiday with sun, white sand, sparkling water and opportunities for activity or relaxation, Fiji (and its beautiful islands with stunning beaches) is sure to impress.

  1. Beyond gorgeous! If I have the finances and opportunity to get to Fiji, I’d be lucky to be in any of these beaches.
